Unfortunately, she has cooldown issues on her most important skill, and her kit is just “fine” outside of her battery access. High Critical Potential. EMIYA’s second skill, Clairvoyance, was long regarded as useless since it only provided a small star generation buff to a servant with unremarkable hit counts. However, its upgraded version, Hawkeye, puts just about every other critical-based skill currently in the game to shame.Bedi’s material requirements are pretty nasty for a 3*. He needs a ton of bronze mats, including 48 chains per skill. Fortunately, skill levels aren’t especially important to Bedi, so it’s not as bad as it could be, but still, not fun. He’s an AoE Arts Berserker with good loopage and damage, the potential for strong ramp in CQs, and easy crit access, but in exchange he has no survival tools, he has no useful utility, he has no instant battery, and he’s both debuff and RNG-reliant.

Without proper support she’s a lot less impressive. As usual, typical damage-boosting CEs work well here—The Black Grail, Aerial Drive, and so on—though you may also consider starting NP (especially Kaleid) in order to get Penth bursting faster. She isn’t usually in need of more damage so much as more speed.Shiki’s kit isn’t especially flashy, but it has everything she needs to be a great Arts-flavored boss-killer. On the other hand she’s missing the batteries she’d need to fully support Quick teams properly, and her defensive utility isn’t enough to reliably sustain longer playstyles. It’s long been an adage within the FGO community (deservedly or not) that there are no bad Archers. Summer Anastasia fits neatly into that pattern, with strong steroids, some utility, and a 50% battery.
