The lower plastic skirt is getting warped from my twice a year tire change-over with my '08 5. I've never used a floor jack before and I'm pretty sure that I can't just start jacking anywhere under the car. Garages have all different types of cars going in and being jacked up. Are there general reference points one can use to jack up any car.

But you can use that rail as long as your close to the indents. The other points mentioned above are also good places if you can see under your car to do it lol. Like.
