I’d disagree with that assessment. If anything Disney has been using its other channels to force subsidization of ESPN. Cable/satellite providers have for years been required to pay a big premium per subscriber for ESPN, and Disney has required it be a channel in practically every cable tier or they won’t let them have their other channels. I don't know. My family uses (1) Roku Express 4K+ 3941R (2021), (2) Roku Streaming Stick 3800R (2017), and (2) Roku Streaming Stick 3600R (2016) devices, and nobody complains.
