Jan 10, 2020 · 5. Posted January 10, 2020 (edited) Rapiers have the same finisher multiplier as hammers, so Destreza Prime is a good choice as well. If you want a Zaw, build for max crit and damage. Finisher animation speed is unaffected by weapon base speed, but is affected by attack speed mods and arcanes. Elementals do effect the total damage.

Also, you do not need the finisher animation to do good damage. If they are stunned/unalerted the vast majority of enemies will fall to a well built melee weapon's quick attack. This is how stealth focus farming is able to work. You run around invisible so they are unaware and AVOID finisher animation so you can pack more kills in a shorter time.
