Outside of a legacy explosive version, gatling plasmas are kinda middle of the road. The damage is fine, but the RoF is somewhat slow compared to other gatling weapons. The splitter barrel helps, but you have to be pretty close to use it efficiently. It's a good gun, but a little limited as a main weapon, at least in my opinion.

Honestly, The Gatling Laser is more Efficient with the power user perk. About 999 rounds per Fusion Core. If you can spare 2 or 3 perk points on intelligence it's an ok weapon. Gatling Plasma is raw power especially if its a Bloodied.
