Jan 12, 2020 · Just bought a 2020 CR-V Touring. When I remote start the vehicle it does not heat up the interior. So the 2020 is the same as the 2017. If you drive somewhere and idle for a few minutes you'll also notice your temp drops off the gauge. You need to rev up to about 2,000 RPM to get any heat out, idling at 900 RPM does nothing.

Both the steering wheel and seat heaters heat very quickly. Really makes a difference and make it not matter how long it takes for the cabin heat to catch up.

But auto start is supposed to ‘take the chill’ out of the seats n wheel. Once you get in and turn ignition on then you get last settings on (1-2-3) seat heat.
