I have used H-380 but it does have pressure issues at the top when temps rose above 65 deg for me. @42.0 grains of Varget under most 140's works well just have to adjust overall length if magazine allows.

Great powder in the 7-08 but I prefer the 140's. Accubonds or Partitions. I tried it with the 140 grain game king and pro hunter and it shot terrible in my rifle. It should give right around 2800 fps from a 22" barrel. Do start lower, though. The Sierra manual tops out at 43.7 grains, Nosler at 44.5, Speer at 45 and Hornady at just over 46.

Velocity with 46grs and a 140 Nosler BT is 2600fps over my chronograph. 47grs and a 139gr Hornady flatbase is 2700. Accuracy is around an inch or slightly over at 100 yards. They don't list the A-tip in the load data for the match, so I used 175smk data.
