This is driving me absolutely crazy. Half the time it shows around the correct amount, the other half of the time it says the drawer is full. I’ve tried recalibrating it, I’ve tried the paper towel at the bottom of the drawer trick, I put the bags in as properly as I possibly can.. I am on the most up to date firmware. Basically wipe the sensors (not sure if this helped), and then follow the video start 1:24, remove the waste bin and "cycle -> reset -> reset -> reset". Mine cept saying full even if I actually emptied the drawer AND pushed reset. I figured out that I needed to run a cleaning cycle for it to reset.
