I did a drain and fill @ 40k miles using Valvoline MaxLife ATF. Whatever you use, look at the bottle and make sure it specifically says that it meets "Nissan Matic-J" requirements. Doing a drain and fill doesn't get much easier, the trans pan has a drain plug and is easier to do than an oil change.
