Since as a Lich you and your party (thanks to undead companions and lich buffs) use negative energy to heal, positive energy healing won't work on you. While Incorporeal Charm (especially if you are a Cha-based caster) can give a very nice bonus. Also, accepting a deal with an otherworldy entity for personal power is perfectly in line with a lich.

That being said, melee is definitely stronger in WotR for various reasons, but full caster merged spellbook Lich is still strong enough to clear unfair difficulty.
