Like I have had 4 people fishing on the boat and still able to walk the rails no problem. When I first got mine there were virtually no poling skiffs in SW Louisiana and very few boats with platforms. After a few years there were 5 J16's rigged identical to mine running around Lake Charles with the same platform built by the same welder.

As said, it was affordable and gets the job done. No complaints or issues so far and I do everything from poling for tailing reds to trolling passes/beaches. CG cover with logo with grab bar. That's a nice cover!! I just reached out to CG see if they still do it. Thanks!!! So CG sends you over to All Custom Canvas. Spoke to a gentlemen there and he say's it'll run about $1,000 to get the cover done. Pulling the knife with a slight angle toward the board kept directly on the line. I may redo the first section I started near the transom, not super happy with how it turned out.
