I don't feel like I experimented enough with weapons, but I really like Moonlight Greatsword(yes, I always started ds as a sorcerer), Blue Flame, Drangleic Sword, Drakewing Ultra Greatsword, Watcher Greatsword and Scythe of Want would be nice to mention. But straightswords would prob. be higher on list in general.Moveset. The Loyce Greatsword arguably has the best moveset out of all the greatswords in the game. One-handed you have your nice reliable sweeps and a fully aimable overhead slash to punish rolls, while two-handed you have that godly thrust attack. Often, an amazing moveset will more than makeup for a deficiency in damage. This may actually be the best greatsword for a dex build in the game. Honestly, both are completely viable weapons both for PvE and PvP, but I never see a point in using Loyce GS over other greatswords in PvE.
