Due to the high unemployment rate in Michigan, effective November 8, 2020, claimants receiving PUA were entitled to an additional 7 weeks of benefits. Effective as of February 7, 2021, Michigan is no longer in a high unemployment period. As a result, you are no longer entitled to the additional weeks of PUA related to the high unemployment rate.
