Acetone is much better and much faster at removing polish than nail polish remover. It also doesn't contain water: the worst chemical for our nails. I use a cheap oil around my fingers before applying acetone soaked cotton and my manicure clips to help mitigate the drying effect. Opi nail envy and jojoba oil.

The infinite shine polishes are still regular nail lacquer, so you can use any lacquer base and top coat you want. Works fine, it's just regular nail polish.
