Yes it is quite slower than real-time. Everyone says use a simulator and when you do it doesn't work for options. Best to learn one contract at a time. You need to real execution for it to mean anything. I've always had real money with better execution but there are a lot of platforms out there.

It pretty much makes it impossible to make successful trades and test strategies when you have no stop loss. Super frustrating. Same, going from up $300 to down $500 is pretty frustrating when a bracketed order would've taken profit at $250 up and stopped loss at $100 down. Makes it realllyyy difficult to test anything.
